Starting my seventh week of construction on my new Pygmy Borealis XL build. Making great progress so far and it's going quickly!
This morning I woke up to a deck that was firmly epoxied onto the hull. Phew!
Tonight, and tomorrow night too, was for filling the seams with thickened epoxy. Because the epoxy from last wasn't fully cured, I left the tape on the hull and only filled where I added epoxy last night.
Tomorrow night I will remove the tape and fill the gaps with thickend epoxy. This is also a great time to fill any of the other seams that need it with thickened epoxy too, if only to help color-match them with the rest of the boat.
Once the seams are filled and cured I will sand the deck and hull/deck joint to get ready to fiberglass the deck... the last BIG fiberglass job on the boat!
Peace!
